Must know tips before making a blog!

 Making a blog is not as easy as you think it is. There are many obstacles that you must face to bring up your blog. I started my blog a month ago, and it took me a whole month to understand the secrets to increase the traffic of my blog. Here are some tips that may be useful to you while making a blog:

1. Choose an SEO friendly blogging platform

You need to use an SEO friendly blogging platform to make it come to google quickly. According to me, the best example of this is Wix. Wix is not only a website/ blog building platform, but also SEO friendly. It took my Wix website only around 11 days to come to google, while my google sites website is yet to be indexed by google. Currently, I am using blogger as my blogging platform, but to my disappointment, it is not the first website to come in google search. So, if you are planning to start a blog, you can use Wix or Wordpress if you want a really good output.

2. Choose your goal

While making a blog, you must know the reason behind why you are making it, whether to earn money or to teach people about something that you are good at.

3. Post regularly

After you start a blog, it is mandatory to make new posts regularly to maintain its position in google search or to rank higher.

4. Increasing blog views

It may take time for your blog to come to google. So, in the meantime, you can post in in social media applications. According to me, the best social media applications where you can post your blog are:

  1. Facebook
  2. Quora
  3. Linkedin
  4. Twitter
  5. Instagram
  6. Tumblr
  7. Discord

Also, don’t forget to share your blog with your family and friends. You can also post it in many communities which follow the same topic or niche that you use in your blog. For finding these communities, you can use discord or linkedin. In Quora, you can answer questions related to the topic of your blog and then post your blog link to your answer.

5. Guest blogging and Content Syndication Platforms

You can post blogs in different guest blogging platforms such as medium and provide the link of your blog at the bottom of the post. Content Syndication Platforms are third party platforms where you can post your content. The best examples of this is medium and quora. You can include the link of your blog in these platforms as these platforms have built in audiences and many readers looking for the same topic proivded in your blog.

6. Newsletters

Now that you have got viewers in your blog, you want to make sure that they come back to see your new posts whenever you post them. For this, you can use an email list platform such as convertkit for free where it provides a newsletter form in which the viewer has to enter their email and will be saved to your convertkit account. You can embed the code of this form from convertkit to your blog. After this, you can use broadcasts to provide emails to all your subscribers whenever you post a post.

7. The last but not the least, make high quality content

To make your readers to get interested in your blog, you must provide them with high quality content with images, videos and graphics.

All these tips will help your blog to grow faster.
